Our Conversation
Please call us or supply a telephone number in your email for us to contact you on. During our initial conversation we will assess your needs and requirements and will then be able to offer initial suggestions for you to consider based upon your individual circumstances.
We would hope that you to feel secure in the knowledge that we will guide you down whatever route is most suitable, safe in the knowledge that we have researched the UK as well as treatment centres overseas for suitable providers, who maintain high standards, record positive outcomes and have impressive reputations for providing quality services overall.
Telephone and Online Assessment
In order for us to advise you as an individual, we will initially need to delve into your personal circumstances. This will give us a broad insight into the problems you or your loved one face and some indication as to the most appropriate treatment.
Part of this telephone process will involve enquiring about your budget. Although we will never be involved in any financial transactions with you or on your behalf this does allow us to make a more accurate suggestion. We would also appreciate you taking the time to complete the Online Assessment provided in our site.
Emergency Admissions
If it is of paramount importance that immediate admission for treatment, detoxification or hospitalisation is required, we suggest telephoning us immediately on 0844 478 0097. There are only a limited amount of facilities which offer 24 hour admission, but we will do our best to accommodate you.
Self financing - Privately funding
Treatment or detox can start from as low as £3000 and go up to £15,000+, private facilities have been extremely successful due to their ability to respond to your request for help so efficiently. A considerable amount of high attention to comfort and quality has been adopted by the independent sector. This is the most common route used to enter into rehabilitation.
Please be aware that most facilities will ask for a deposit to reserve a space and will require 2 weeks' fees on arrival, although some will expect your commitment to be higher.
Private Medical Insurance
If you hold private medical insurance, you may be covered for some or all of your treatment. If this will be your funding choice, let us know with who you are insured by and to what level when you call.
No private funds available?
If you do not have the financial means to privately support the cost of your treatment you might qualify for state funding through your local Community Drug and Alcohol Team (CDAT).
Unfortunately www.121rehab.com is unable to assist anyone who requires treatment via the NHS aside from advising you of the process. If this is the case you will need to follow the instructions below:
1) Visit your GP and ask for a referral to "abstinent based residential rehabilitation"
2) Your GP will refer you to your Community Drug & Alcohol Team for further assessments based upon health, determination, means, and a few other factors.
3) You will be allocated a Key-worker who will lead you on from this point. Remember to insist upon abstinence based residential rehab. If you do not insist, then you may be offered other alternatives such as prescribed medications - methadone, subutex, etc, or offered infrequent counselling and controlled drinking classes.
4) Your key-worker should give you the option of where you wish to go for residential rehab. If you require assistance and guidance with this, please feel free to contact us and will be happy to assist further.
Unfortunately the NHS process is likely to take a number of months and is difficult to manoeuvre through. It is for this reason that Private facilities have become so successful and well managed.
We would again like to assure you of our discreet approach and absolute respect of your confidentiality The Drug Treatment Agencies (High Street Drop-in Centres) in the UK are operated as services designed to minimise the harm caused by drinking and using and not necessarily established or equipped to help you stop the harmful behaviour altogether. They are a useful place to visit if you have no resources and wish to get some free support with some of the consequences of your drinking and using. They are not established to help you to stop drinking and / or using.
To discuss your circumstances and to find out whether www.121rehab.com can help, please telephone 0844 478 0097.
